What is the date for the 2019 reunion?July 31, 2018 at 7:48 am #213
This seems to be working OK now.
Whoever asked what happened to the old site?:
it was breaking down more frequently and we discussed it at the AGM and voted, unanimously as I remember, to launch a new, dedicated site. It was always going to be a bit hit and miss to start with but it seems busy now.
Not as busy as Facebook I’ll grant you, but at least we don’t have to listen to reports of how funny the cat is or what size socks you are wearing. Or how soooooon you’ll be seeing me either. Mark Zuckerberg will manage nicely without us adding to his wealth with pointless blogs
Brumy has sorted the hotel very nicely and will be putting a copy of the booking form on here. That doesn’t mean you have to use it of course. Just ring and pay over the phone is what I’ve done. It wasn’t difficult. And there are no penalties for cancellation this year either. Just like last year in fact.
If you have any questions (not next weeks lottery numbers) ask them on here or get in touch with Brum. He’s the one running the show. Ignore all rumours of impending doom. Ask Brum.July 30, 2018 at 9:06 am #212
Have just sent the following text to Carl Webber, 7 Sqn “Morning Carl, sorry to say there is a nil return for Lendrim Day, but I’m sure eveyone would like to thank the Sqn for the invitation and for you to have an enjoyable day and would wish to pass on our Best Wishes for a successful and SAFE tour of Iraq. Regards, Mike”
This to allow Carl to cater for the buffet.July 27, 2018 at 3:13 pm #211
Off hand I don’t know the price of a pint but I do know that we get a 20% discount at the bar as we are given a wrist band to show we are entitled.

Hi all, this is just to let you know that the booking forms and contract will be coming early next week for the 2019 REunion at the Royal Court Hotel Coventry.
I will send out the booking forms towards the middle or end of October if that’s OK. If not please let me know if that is either to soon or late. The hotel requires the forms to be returned via Email 8 weeks prior to the event.

Have received a text message this evening from Carl Webber, one of 7 Sqn’s SNCO’s, he came to a Black Horse Trail in 2015 with some of the Sqn.
Text as follows. “The Sqn at present is stood up for Iraq so we are trying to squeeze in Lendrim Day however training has taken over the programme so we are looking at holding Lendrim Day next Wednesday (1st August) and double it up as our summer function do you think any of the Shiny 7 would be able to make it? We are looking at starting around 1900”
I will reply that I have put on this site and Facebook, for those not using this site and will forward names of those interested.
Yes it’s short notice, nothing I can do about that. I will not be in Ripon for this as I will be visiting family in Hereford. Anyone interested I can pass on your details to CarlJuly 23, 2018 at 8:59 pm #203

Hi all, just to let you know I have been in touch with the Royal Court Hotel regarding next years RE-Union and they will be sending me the contract and booking forms next week. I will keep you updated as I go along. Hope you are doing well and surviving the heatwave. Brummie HarperJuly 18, 2018 at 10:03 pm #198
WHOOPEE, Ive finally got on to the site, there isnt a lot happening though,I suppose it will get better the more people get access to it.July 18, 2018 at 7:16 am #194
There is a significant difference between this site and the previous one. I’m still working my way around it but, once you come to terms with it, it seems to be a more stable platform. A bit like a second wife I reckon.
George C if you are reading this then I know you’ve cracked it.
Gordon D I don’t remember the old site having a “private” bit. I’ve always fallen back on my personal website if I wanted to talk to someone in private.
Brummy Harper is doing a sterling job for 2019. Anybody who hasn’t been following him should try and catch up. It’s only nine months away and he’ll be wanting your menus soon.
