For those of you who have been waiting with baited breath for news on the Cassino project.
I was contacted by the REA earlier this week and we are 90% there. There are a couple of points which need clarification and I am dealing with them as fast as I can. I have done it over the phone but it needs doing officially ASAP
I have approached a couple of people to act as a project manager and that looks very promising as well. Prince Harry is busy baby sitting that week so he can’t make it but he gave me a tip on a couple of his mates.
I’m sorry I can’t make it 100% but as soon as I can I will.February 21, 2019 at 11:34 am #325

Hi again here are the names that have booked for the reunion.
Myself, David and Christine Perry, Patrick Cobb, George Cowie, Gordon Dadd, Henry and Sara Day, Steven Duncan, Chris Ellis, Robert and Patricia Hopkins, Alan and Agnes Morton, Beryl Rutter and Paul and Judy Simmons* *( cancelled, medical reasons). Come on guys, if you can think of anyone that may not have booked yet can you remind them that time is running out. Bookings have to be made by the end of February, you can book on line or over the phone but which ever way you choose you must remember to choose your menu choice as well. Lets make this a special event and lets enjoy the weekend.

Hi all, could you please pull your fingers out and book for the reunion if you haven’t already done so. At the last count only 12 names had been received by the hotel. I will post the names of those who have booked later as it appears that I have posted the list on the old site. So please can you book ASAP so that we can have a real good reunion this year.

Here is Part 3 of 4 of the Black Horse Trail 2018. This part covers the period when 7 Field Company RE, then in the 50th Division, who were sent to rest and rebuild on a quiet part of the front in the French sector, The Chemin des Dames. Unfortunately, it was at this sector that German, General Ludendorff decided to attack on the Third German Spring Offensive. It was a major disaster for the British Army.December 19, 2018 at 10:59 am #312
